Um Ahmad embarked on her baking project during COVID-19, driven by a simple idea born out of her passion for baking and her desire to support her family's income while ensuring a better future for her children. Her pastries quickly gained popularity among locals, leading to requests from neighbours and friends to purchase her products. However, with the increasing demand for her delicious pastries, Um Ahmad recognized an opportunity to transform her hobby into a business venture. With determination and hard work, she opened her first bakery, offering a variety of baked goods crafted with love and care. As her business thrived, Um Ahmad envisioned her bakery as a welcoming space where visitors could not only indulge in her delectable treats but also learn the art of baking alongside her. Beyond food, Um Ahmad's project focuses on empowerment. She takes pride in teaching other women how to prepare these traditional foods, turning her endeavour into a collaborative community effort.
