Manal Mansour, the owner of "Manal's Straw Crafts," has a deep-rooted passion for preserving traditional crafts and empowering others through her expertise. Her journey began in her childhood, where she assisted her grandmother in weaving wheat straw, sparking a lifelong fascination with traditional crafting techniques. Driven by her passion and inspired by the rich heritage of straw crafts, Manal sought additional training from the Jordan Valley, where she mastered banana leaf weaving techniques. Visitors have the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences, learning about the sourcing and various types of straw while crafting their own items under Manal's expert guidance. Through her workshops, Manal aims to not only preserve traditional crafts but also to empower women by offering them the skills necessary to generate income through their craft.
