Rabea Zuraiqat is a music artist driven by a profound passion for musical instruments, sparked by a love for their captivating sounds. Inspired by the mesmerizing melodies of the nai, he embarked on a journey to procure this unique instrument from abroad. Throwing himself in the art of nai music, Rabea met with skilled musicians to master the intricate techniques required to produce its beautiful tones. Through dedicated study and hands-on experience, he honed his craft and eventually established his own association, Bait Al-Nai, meaning “House of Nai,” where guests have the unique opportunity to learn the intricate process of crafting the nai from the reed plant, which Rabea himself goes and picks up from the wilderness. With workshops focused on nay playing techniques, Rabea remains dedicated to preserving the rich musical heritage of his homeland and inspiring others to discover the beauty of traditional music.
