The Jerash Women's Association, established in 1972, by local owme in Jerah is considered the first association established in the Jerash Governorate in 1971. It is one of the first multi-purpose productive associations at the kingdom level. The association represents women in the Jerash Governorate through active participation in various activities inside and outside the region.
