Sukina Al-Rashaydeh
Sukina, the visionary behind Um Malek's guesthouse, began her journey into hospitality after experiencing success with her homemade local products such as olive oil, olives, dairy products, traditional foods, and handmade soap. It all began when visitors, drawn by the warmth of Sukina's hospitality and the charming ambiance of her porch covered with lemon trees, began stopping by to purchase her goods. Inspired by the growing interest and eagerness to share the beauty of her surroundings with others, Sukina made the bold decision to transform her home into a guesthouse. Today, Um Malek's guesthouse stands as a testament to her dedication to providing authentic Jordanian experiences and locally sourced products to visitors from near and far. Driven by a desire to expand her offerings and reach a wider audience, Sukina is committed to enhancing her kitchen facilities and increasing exposure for her guesthouse.
