Sameera Al-Nawasrah

Sameera Al-Nawasrah, a widow and mother of 10, found solace and purpose in her craft after the passing of her husband. She was initially overwhelmed with responsibilities until her mother taught her the traditional art of basket weaving. She offers a unique experience in her local home, introducing visitors to the culture and origins of basket weaving and providing hands-on instruction on the craft. With her extensive experience in the tourism sector, Sameera has honed her skills in multiple crafts and is now dedicated to empowering and supporting other women by teaching and training them to create their own income through these traditional arts.
